2016 (S) $1 American Silver Eagle 1oz PCGS MS70 Thomas Cleveland Eagle Struck in San Francisco. There are no physical mint marks on the coin, however, the grading companies can confirm where they were minted when a sealed box is submitted. Most of the bullion Silver Eagle coins are made in West Point but to keep up with demand, sometimes, they had to use San Francisco and Philadelphia. Out of the 37,701,500 Silver Eagles made in 2016, only 4,650,000 were made in San Francisco making it one of the lowest mintage for bullion Silver Eagles. There have been only about 4500 of these graded by PCGS across all grades.
